Council Competitiveness (Research) 23 May 2024
01DESCRIPTION
On 23 May, Ministers are expected to adopt a recommendation on the reinforcement of security in research. They are expected to adopt a Council position (political agreement) on the Council regulation for the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC) in view of enlarging the scope of this regulation to the use of performing computing to Artificial Intelligence projects.
Ministers are invited to adopt Council conclusions knowledge valorization of Horizon 2020. They expected to adopt Council conclusions on the ex-post assessment that the Commission has done on the Horizon 2020 framework programme.
Ministers will hold a policy debate on Research and Innovation on advanced materials.
The Hungarian delegation will inform the ministers on the programme for their upcoming presidency in the field of Research.
