02INTRODUCTION

On 16 July 2025, the European Commission presented its proposal for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2028-2034), including the proposal for the next Framework Programme for R&I 'Horizon Europe 2028-2034'.

On 3 September, the Commissions adopted the proposal for the Euratom Research and Training Programme and the proposal for ITER.
