EC publication provides overview of R&I projects on democracy and governance in Horizon Europe

The European Commission has published an overview of the state of play of R&I on democracy and governance in Horizon Europe’s Cluster 2 – Culture, Creativity & Inclusive Society. Collaborative research and innovation projects funded by the EU through the Horizon Europe programme play a critical role in the fields of human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and human rights, as they provide understanding of the factors that undermine democracy, as well as tools and solutions that strengthen democratic institutions, promote civic engagement, and address the complex challenges threatening our democracy, such as from disinformation and polarisation to the impact of technological transformations.
